Katherine Maginnis is recognised for its diligent approach to sourcing artists and curating new artwork for private and commercial clients. The team’s most recent trip to Morocco exemplifies their dedication to connecting typically hard-to-reach art and artists from diverse backgrounds around the world, directly to Katherine Maginnis clients for their upcoming residential or commercial projects.
In a bid to find new artists and artisans in Marrakech that experiment with artistic processes and materials, the team visited the famous Berber tribes, who produce the distinctively decorative and meticulously handcrafted Moroccan rugs in the Atlas Mountains. Whilst there, the team uncovered the work of Ahmed Hajoubi at the multi-purpose gallery space in the Sofitel Hotel; a prime example of how integrating art concepts with interior design schemes, can construct inspiring and unique public spaces which compliment the character of a room in an authentic and impactful way.
