Interior designer, past-president of the British Institute of Interior Design and BBC design judge Daniel Hopwood recently had his striking Marylebone home featured in two of the UK’s most prominent home and lifestyle publications. Katherine Maginnis sourced and curated a selection of pieces for Daniel’s luxury flat — where the celebrated designer lives with his partner — and was thrilled to see it photographed for both Evening Standard’s Homes & Property pages and the Financial Times’s How To Spend It magazine.
Evening Standard
A series of shots takes by photographer Charles Hosea showcase the artwork chosen by Katherine for Daniel’s home. The images accompany an in-depth interview by Philippa Stockley, in which the interiors expert discusses the process behind designing his own home. The feature was the centre double-page spread of the 29 March 2017 print issue and is also available online.
Financial Times How To Spend It
Photographed by Andy Donohoe for a three part print and digital feature called ‘The Aesthete’, Daniel is pictured in front of a piece selected by Katherine Maginnis. The feature ran in the print issue of the magazine on 21 April 2017 and is supported by a two part interview with editor Ian Shine, published online.
Katherine has previously collaborated with Daniel Hopwood by sourcing contemporary art for his recent interior design project in Aldgate. Find out more here.
